How to Use Receipt Auto-Scanning with FreeAgent?
FreeAgent is an online expense tracking and accounting software designed specifically for businesses with small teams. This tool brings everything together, from income and costs management, to VAT, salaries and self-assessment tax return filing. Any changes in the cash flow automatically updated in the FreeAgent accounts, this gives a complete visibility of the income and expenses and showing a real-time profit.
GetMyInvoices will connect directly with your FreeAgent account and streamline the process of fetching invoices and receipts. GetMyInvoices scans your suppliers, extracts critical accounting data and uploads it directly into FreeAgent. You can also use the scan button in GetMyInvoices to digitalize all your paper invoices. Save time and money in the data entry and enhance your cash workflow by connecting GetMyInvoices to FreeAgent.
1. Begin integration process
Login to GetMyInvoices > choose "Sync" from the left menu > Click "Synchronization Accounts" on the right side > Click "Add Sync Account" > Choose FreeAgent > Click "Continue"
2. Configure sync settings
Choose how often invoices should be synchronized, set start date of sync and put comment > If needed click "Extended Settings" and continue set up > Click "Continue"
3. Connect GetMyInvoices and FreeAgent
Login to your FreeAgent account > Click "Approve"
4. Add sync account
Add sync account name, choose the FreeAgent Contact and Category you want to sync > Click "Save" > Once you have added FreeAgent sync, you can select the FreeAgent Contact and Category for each Supplier in the Suppliers Module. For all supplier where this was not configured, GetMyInvoices uses the default values selected in "Add Sync" dialog
5. Integration finished
It will take about 5 minutes until you will see synchronization information under the main menu item "Sync" > That's it!
