A gaping void has been left in many areas, caused by the contact restrictions and curfews set in place to contain the Corona pandemic. We are all the more pleased, therefore, that we managed to move against the trend and made more positive innovations for GetMyInvoices road-worthy. These include a mass import feature for tax consultants, a new synchronization interface with Zoho Invoice, the option to send payment confirmations, improvements to the GetMyInvoices App, and the connection of further portals.
So far, tax consultants using GetMyInvoices were only able to create one client at a time. Now, our client mass importer gives them the option to create all required clients in just one step. To do so, they only have to upload a csv file with the necessary data, and all clients receive a free starter account. This means a further reduction of effort for tax consultants.
With the new synchronization interface to Zoho Invoice, users of the web-based invoicing software can automatically transmit their outgoing invoices generated in Zoho Invoice to GetMyInvoices. There, the invoices will be available along with other automatically imported documents for further processing, for example for synchronization with the accounting software, the tax consultant’s solution or a different software.
Payment confirmations are another feature. Users who pay bills through GetMyInvoices can conveniently send a payment confirmation by email – either internally within the team, or externally, for example to the respective supplier.
As concerns our Scan-App, both the Android version and the iOS version received a design make-over. As well as that, whenever the OCR correctly extracts the gross- and net amount from the document, but can’t recognize the tax rate, the tax rate will be calculated automatically. If users chose a GetMyInvoices account, but the document has not been synchronized yet, modified data in the document details will now also be saved locally. More again, we corrected some small errors. In the Android version, the GetMyInvoices account can be linked by entering the API Key again. The iOS version boasts a new onboarding feature, an improved search function, a tagging function and the option to crop pictures.
