Lübeck. Users of the invoice management solution GetMyInvoices will now be able to log in to their account more comfortably, while new users can register for an account even faster than before. This is owing to an integration with the open log-in standard netID. It enables secure user identification and authentication, keeping the user’s data sovereignty a given.
Anybody interested in registering with GetMyInvoices can now use their access data from netID providers like WEB.DE, GMX or 7pass in the process. Thanks to the Single Sign-On, it is no longer necessary to remember separate access data. GetMyInvoices adopts the master data deposited with the netID account provider data protection-compliantly. This way, the data will not have to be entered by hand anymore.
The main characteristic differentiating netID from international Single Sign-On solutions – based on Facebook and Google – is the fact that users can effectively practice their data sovereignty. Data remains decentralized with the netID account provider. Master data will be transferred between the netID partner service and the according netID account provider only when permission has been given by the user. A privacy centre guarantees transparency. There, users are able to manage their data, e.g. change passwords or permit/revoke data release.

netID is the European netID Foundation’s login standard.
