fino integrates invoice approval workflows in GetMyInvoices

Lübeck. Users of GetMyInvoices can now control various invoice approval processes automatically. For this purpose, the invoice management solution includes several standardized workflows that can be customized individually. In addition, the expert mode allows users to configure workflows themselves. As a result, users benefit from faster invoice approval processes and less manual effort. 

“GetMyInvoices fully automates the receiving and processing of invoices,” says Björn Kahle, COO of fino, the provider of GetMyInvoices. He states: “This is because our software downloads documents from more than 10,000 online portals, email inboxes, and third-party solutions such as invoicing tools and cloud storage into a central document management system and reads out relevant data such as invoice number, invoice amount, and invoice date. With the workflow capabilities now in place, we’re going one step further and automating invoice approval as well.”

Customizable and standardized at the same time

For users to be able to use the new workflow functions quickly, fino has already implemented typical invoice approval processes in GetMyInvoices. These processes map the path from document receipt, through document control and approval, to payment and synchronization. Users select whether one or more people are involved in the workflow or whether a specialist department should be included. In the next step, the user defines the responsible employees, who see the invoices to be checked, approved, or paid listed in their dashboard. Invoices can be prioritized, for example, to take advantage of cash discount opportunities. An integrated deputy function ensures that no invoice remains unprocessed if, for example, an employee is ill or on vacation.

“We will integrate further workflow functionalities this year to automate invoice management in GetMyInvoices even more and to additionally relieve our users,” says Björn Kahle.
