GetMyInvoices now with Scan App for Android and iOS
Kassel. As of now, the invoice management solution GetMyInvoices comes with a Scan App for the operating systems Android and iOS. Once the App is installed on a smartphone or another mobile device, users can capture documents wherever those accrue and share them conveniently with others. Thus, documents are available exactly where they are needed within the shortest possible time: lost receipts are a thing of the past.
“With the release of the Scan App, we fulfil another one of our customers’ wishes”, says Björn Kahle, COO of fino, provider of the invoice management software GetMyInvoices. He explains: “As soon as the App is installed and linked to the GetMyInvoices account, users can photograph receipts for fuel, postage or other expenses directly on site. The documents will be automatically uploaded to GetMyInvoices and will be available in PDF for further processing.” This makes travel expense accounting, for example, a lot easier.
The mobile App can even be used without internet connection – receipts can be scanned offline. As soon as a connection has been established, they’ll be automatically transmitted to GetMyInvoices. This puts an end to the paper chase. The App fulfils the financial management requirements regarding replacement scanning. This means that users can destroy the scanned documents, instead of having to store the originals. As soon as they are saved in the system, authorized users can access them anywhere and anytime.
This also enables easy viewing, editing and sharing of data sets through the App. Documents can be processed especially fast and promptly – with less manual effort. For GetMyInvoices supports common invoicing standards, for instance ZUGFeRD or XRechnung, and reads invoice data within seconds via integrated OCR. Time-intensive, error-prone typing of invoice amounts, turnover tax or invoice numbers is not necessary. In addition, documents can be automatically forwarded to online accounting systems like DATEV, sevDesk, FastBill, Lexoffice or Billomat. Alternatively, invoices and receipts can be transferred to document management systems or cloud storage solutions like Dropbox, OneDrive and Google Drive.
GetMyInvoices is a cloud-based solution for invoice management that is of particular interest to small and medium-sized businesses. It retrieves all bills from more than 5000 online portals automatically – and records the invoice date and amount. In addition, it imports invoices received by email, or scanned via smartphone or tablet. Documents are filed transparently in central document storage.
