GetMyInvoices presents the new Sage One InterfaceEven more efficient processing of incoming invoices for the self-employed, freelances and start-ups
Lübeck. The invoice management solution GetMyInvoices by Simplessus now offers an interface with Sage One. This way, all users of the accounting software can profit from the electronic incoming invoices workflow.
It decreases the amount of time between the receipt of an invoice and its entry into the accounting system, and enables self-employed workers, freelances and start-ups to take another step towards paperless, automatized bookkeeping and efficient cashflow management.
With the interface, GetMyInvoices responds to the ever-greater need of stronger automatization of incoming invoices processing. Sage recently estimated exactly how big the potential is in its study “Sweating the Small Stuff: the impact of the bureaucracy burden”. According to the study, small and medium-sized companies in Germany spend 3.7 percent of their work time on administrative tasks, equalling a loss of productivity of about 28.2 billion Euro annually. The lion’s share of all administrative jobs in Germany is allocated with 23 percent to accounting; there, incoming invoices is, with 11 percent, one of the big administrative posts.
“Users can, via the interface, import all their invoices from their GetMyInvoices account automatically into Sage One, to continue processing them”, Bjoern Kahle, Managing Director of Simplessus, explains. The laborious and time-consuming gathering of invoices is omitted, as GetMyInvoices regularly and automatically downloads documents from hundreds of online portals. As well as that, the solution offers an easy way to forward electronic bills, and receives invoices captured by scanner or smartphone. The document management serves as central filing system for all documents – regardless of whether they are receipts, postal or digital invoices.
The integration with Sage One is incredibly simple. A once-off configuration of your synchronisation settings, which any user will be able to manage autonomously, is enough. You simply have to add Sage One as a synchronisation account to your GetMyInvoices account, choose how often invoices should be synchronised, and click on “Connect”. All that’s left to be done after that is to allow and configure the synchronisation in Sage One.
