Download bank and credit card statements automatically

As of now, the invoice management solution GetMyInvoices automatically downloads not only invoices from online portals into central document management, but also bank and credit card statements. “With this extension, we respond to a request many of our users have made, namely, to take care of another step towards automatized bookkeeping”, says Björn Kahle, Managing Director of fino data services Ltd, provider of GetMyInvoices. Bank statements can be forwarded automatically to third-party solutions like accounting systems, the same as all imported documents. Thus, GetMyInvoices strengthens its position as a central document turntable for companies even further.

 Invoices – as well as bank and credit card statements – from online portals aside, GetMyInvoices also downloads invoices from email inboxes. Furthermore, scanned documents, invoices sent to a central inbox, and documents from third-party solutions (like cloud storage, invoicing tools and document management systems) can be automatically imported, following the once-off deposit of your access data. This way, all your invoices and their related documents can always be found in one single location. Via the web browser, they can be easily managed. Invoices can be synchronized with other systems as required, in which process all supported invoice data will be transferred automatically. This includes accounting solutions, DATEV companies online, and cloud storage. The variety of available options creates the potential for the implementation of individual workflows.  1,500 bank portals linked already

“Linking bank portals extends our concept”, Björn Kahle says and continues: “The benefit is especially noticeable in relation to downloaded credit card statements. There are no standard interfaces like HBCI or FinTS for them to enable automatized alignment – meaning that until now, users were forced to download, capture and synchronize those documents from customer portals themselves.” Aided by fino run Ltd as a BaFin-regulated account information service provider, GetMyInvoices now takes over the download for numerous leading banks who have been linked already. This includes many Volks and Raiffeisen banks as well as Sparkassen, making available 1,500 bank portals as it is. This means that by now, GetMyInvoices can provide over 4,500 online portals for automatized document download, including invoicing portals. More banks are to follow suit.
