Due to the contact and exit restrictions to contain the corona pandemic, there is a gaping void in many ways. We are all the more pleased that we have bucked the trend and brought further positive innovations to GetMyInvoices. These include a mass importer for tax advisors, a new synchronization interface to Zoho Invoice, the sending of payment confirmations, optimizations to the GetMyInvoices app and the connection to other portals.
Additional functions
Tax advisors who use GetMyInvoices were previously only able to create one client at a time. Now our client mass importer gives them the opportunity to create all the clients they want in one step. All they have to do is upload a csv file with the required data and all clients receive a free starter account. This means that the workload for tax advisors is now even lower. Using the new synchronization interface to Zoho Invoice, users of the web-based invoicing software can automatically transfer their outgoing invoices generated in Zoho Invoice to GetMyInvoices. There they are then available for further processing together with other automatically imported documents, for example for synchronization with the accounting software, the tax advisor solution or other software. Another feature is payment confirmations. Users who pay an invoice via GetMyInvoices can then conveniently send a payment confirmation by email - either internally within the team or externally, for example to the relevant supplier.
Optimizations to the scan app
As for our scanning app, both the Android and iOS versions have received a new design. In addition, the tax rate is automatically calculated if the OCR has correctly extracted the gross and net amount from the receipt but could not recognize the tax rate. If users have selected a GetMyInvoices account but the document has not yet been synchronized, changed data in the document details is now also saved locally. We have also fixed minor bugs. In addition, the Android version can again connect the GetMyInvoices account by entering the API key. The iOS version has a new onboarding, an improved search function, a tagging function and options for cropping images.
