Midsummer. That means it’s going to be hot. And that’s why we have some hot updates for you:
Manual download
GetMyInvoices regularly collects your invoices every seven days, and nothing has changed in this regard. What has changed, however, is that you can now initiate this collection process manually. This is helpful, for example, if the month-end closing is within the cycle, but you don’t want to wait up to seven days until the next download cycle to do your accounting. In this case, you can now start the download manually. This is how it works:
- Go to your GetMyInvoices account on “Suppliers” and select your user name for the corresponding supplier.
- A window is opening, in which login data, status, last download date and next download date are displayed.
- To the right of it are three buttons with possible actions (edit, delete and download). Click the download button to activate the download process. GetMyInvoices will now attempt to transfer your invoice to your account and identify the most important data on your invoice.
- The requested invoice will be in your account within a maximum of 24 hours - but you will usually find your invoice there within about an hour.
New partners
We were able to gain several new partners to expand the versatile use of GetMyInvoices.
Fortnox
Fortnox is the leading web-based accounting system in Sweden. The modern accounting software is suitable for both accountants and small businesses. With the help of this program you can pay your invoices, pay your employees’ salaries and manage all orders and receipts. Despite this wealth of functions, it is easy to use and is even used by schools to teach their students about accounting. Thanks to the cooperation with GetMyInvoices, invoices no longer have to be uploaded manually.
Slack.com
The versatile chat program, which is often used in companies to simplify communication between employees, now also has a GetMyInvoices integration. This looks like this:
- When you connect your Slack account to GetMyInvoices, all your captured receipts will be posted in a special channel.
- This is, on the one hand, practical, if you use the channel as an accounting archive to keep track of things.
- On the other hand You can of course also automatically alert your accounting team that a new invoice has been received.
