GetMyInvoices automatically imports invoices from Caya – January 2018

The new year has begun and many people are “brooding” over their annual financial statements. That’s why we’ve been working hard to further improve GetMyInvoices. From accounting to document management to new portals, you’ll now find even more options.

accounting

In the area of accounting integration, we focused on two solutions: Debitoor and SevDesk. The result: Debitoor users can now freely define the invoice description and thus find the transferred invoices more easily in Debitoor. Anyone who uses SevDesk now has the option of transferring documents to the accounting solution in “draft mode”. The advantage is that the documents do not have to be opened again in SevDesk for processing.

Automatic invoice import from Caya

Via a connection to Caya (https://www.getcaya.com/ ), a digitization service for analog mail, has been available to us for several months. It is now possible to have scanned letters recognized as invoices automatically imported into GetMyInvoices as invoices.

Document management

In addition to the normal Google Drive, we now also support Google Team Drives as a synchronization target. We have also expanded the Evernote integration so that the receipts are no longer necessarily transferred to the standard notebook, but the target notebook can also be selected. In addition to such synchronization, the assignment of tags can provide useful services for the organization. We have therefore now set up the option to automatically assign tags to the supplier Amazon.de in order to be able to better distinguish between the different types of documents. These include direct Amazon invoices, order overviews and marketplace invoices that can be downloaded from the platform.

Further improvements

There are also a few other new features. One is direct billing to client management. When tax consultants or management consultancies use our client management, we have always billed through the respective partner. To relieve tax consultants of the administrative burden, we have created the option of billing directly to clients.

In addition, users can now set the sorting of the documents in the tile view and find out about the system status of GetMyInvoices on a status page. Any technical problems are reported there. https://status.getmyinvoices.com/

New portals

Since the beginning of January, we have been automatically downloading documents from 70 new portals, including:

• OneSky • FastField • TextExpander • Frame.io • recruitee • evergreen energy • Taxify
