Time-consuming download of receipts from portals

“We handle preparatory accounting ourselves. Every month invoices from different sources have to be collected and transferred into the CANDIS software.

Manually logging into online portals, downloading invoices and providing them in CANDIS turned out to be especially tedious and time-consuming. Each monthly accounting prep took our colleague at least an hour. Via CANDIS we eventually learned about automatic document import with GetMyInvoices and used the chance to eliminate this resource-heavy manual process.”

Solution

Automatic invoice retrieval with GetMyInvoices “We stored the login credentials for the ten online portals where most recurring invoices arrive in GetMyInvoices. We also set up an export sync with CANDIS. Since then the solution automatically retrieves invoices for phones, postage, Google Ads and similar and transfers them to CANDIS. At month-end the invoices are there, forwarded to DATEV and thus to the tax adviser. The colleague responsible for preparatory bookkeeping is glad she does not have to actively use GetMyInvoices at all, because everything runs automatically and there are no follow-up questions from the tax adviser. She can now focus on other work.”
