Lübeck/Berlin. As part of a cooperation, Agicap and GetMyInvoices have combined the areas of digital invoice management and liquidity planning. Companies now benefit from holistic liquidity management that includes all supplier invoices and allows for an even more reliable forecast.
The liquidity management solution Agicap automatically categorizes the transactions on all of a company’s bank accounts and compares the income and expenses expected for a specific period. The result is presented to the user on a clear, updated daily dashboard. From there, they can then make precise forecasts about the future liquidity of the business and anticipate possible fluctuations using customized scenarios.
GetMyInvoices, in turn, automatically retrieves all supplier invoices from various sources, such as online portals or email inboxes, to make them available in one central location. Invoices received by post can be scanned using a smartphone app and are then also uploaded to the document management system.
About the now available interface Agicap users can automatically import the invoices from GetMyInvoices into their solution. There they are assigned to the open items and categorized according to individual specifications. The liquidity graph is also automatically updated. In addition, Agicap includes the open items in the liquidity forecasts, which results in a precise preview of the payment data in the coming weeks.
“Automated liquidity management based on digital invoice management enables intelligent, dynamic and well-visualized forecasts of solvency,” says Timo Hoffmann, Head of Partnerships at Agicap, adding: “These estimates, in turn, represent an important management tool in times of high uncertainty and rapid changes in the framework conditions, which provides a solid basis for reporting for stakeholders as well as strategic decisions.”
**Liquidity management is becoming increasingly important **
As part of a study commissioned by Agicap and Arvato current study 61% of respondents said they had already been affected by a liquidity shortage. The companies cited unforeseen events such as the Covid crisis as the main reasons. Christian Knipp, Director Business Operations at GetMyInvoices, explains: “In times of crisis, medium-sized companies work particularly hard to reduce their costs and optimize their working capital. In contrast, invoice processing is often neglected and hampered by manual, paper-based activities and the use of incompatible systems. This leads to lengthy processing cycles and a lack of cash flow transparency, with the associated negative consequences. With GetMyInvoices, companies can automate their invoice management and, by connecting to Agicap, predict their liquidity based on reliable figures.”****
