GetMyInvoices now also automatically downloads bank statements and credit card statements

Kassel. The invoice management solution GetMyInvoices now not only automatically downloads invoices from online portals into a central document management system, but also bank statements and credit card statements. “With this extension, we are meeting the wishes of many users to take another step towards automating their accounting,” says Björn Kahle, Managing Director of fino data services GmbH, provider of GetMyInvoices. The bank statements, like all imported documents, can be automatically forwarded to third-party solutions, such as accounting systems. This means that GetMyInvoices is now even more important as a central document hub for companies.

GetMyInvoices automatically downloads invoices, bank statements and credit card statements from online portals as well as invoices from email inboxes. In addition, scanned documents, invoices sent to a central inbox and documents from third-party solutions such as cloud storage, invoice creation tools and document management systems can be automatically imported after the access data has been entered once. This means that all invoices and the associated documents are always in one place. They can be easily managed via the web browser. Depending on requirements, the desired invoices can be synchronized with other systems, with all supported invoice data being transmitted automatically. These include accounting solutions, DATEV companies online and cloud storage. The variety of options available makes it possible to implement individual workflows. The benefit: The effort required for accounting is significantly reduced. Efficient cash flow management becomes possible and collaboration with the tax advisor is made much easier.

1500 bank portals already connected

“The connection to bank portals expands our concept,” explains Björn Kahle and explains: “The benefit is particularly great in relation to the downloaded credit card statements. There are no standard interfaces for them such as HBCI or FinTS that enable automatic reconciliation, so users have always been forced to download, enter and reconcile the documents themselves from the customer portals.” With the help of fino run GmbH, a BaFin-regulated service provider for account information services, GetMyInvoices now takes over the download - for numerous leading banks that were connected in the first step. These include many Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken as well as savings banks, so that a total of 1500 bank portals are already available. This means that GetMyInvoices, including invoice portals, now has more than 4500 online portals for automated document downloads. More banks are to follow.
