GetMyInvoices now also with interface to Sage One

Lübeck. Simplessus’ invoice management solution GetMyInvoices now also has an interface to Sage One. This means that all users who use the accounting software can benefit from an electronic incoming invoice workflow.

This shortens the time between receiving an invoice and entering it into the accounting system and enables self-employed people, freelancers and start-ups to take a further step towards paperless, automated accounting and efficient cash flow management.

With the interface, GetMyInvoices is responding to a great need for greater automation of invoice processing. Sage recently quantified the potential in its study “Sweating the Small Stuff: the impact of the bureaucracy burden”. According to the study, small and medium-sized companies in Germany spend 3.7 percent of their working time on administrative tasks, which corresponds to a loss of productivity of around 28.2 billion euros per year. The lion’s share of all administrative tasks in Germany (23 percent) is accounted for by accounting, in which invoice processing is one of the largest administrative items (11 percent).

“Using the new interface, users can automatically import all invoices from their GetMyInvoices account into Sage One so that they can be processed further there,” explains Björn Kahle, Managing Director of Simplessus. The tedious, time-consuming task of compiling individual invoices is no longer necessary. This is because GetMyInvoices automatically downloads documents from hundreds of online portals on a regular basis. The solution also has an easy way to forward email invoices and accepts invoices captured by scanner or smartphone. Receipt management serves as a central repository for all receipts - regardless of whether they are receipts, postal or digital invoices.

The integration into Sage One is extremely simple. All that is required is a one-time configuration of the synchronization settings, which each user can do themselves. All they have to do is add Sage One as a synchronization account in their GetMyInvoices account, select how often invoices should be synchronized and click “Connect”. Then all they have to do is allow and set up synchronization in Sage One.
