We used the longest days of the year to continue working on our major workflow and scan app projects and to enrich GetMyInvoices with additional features.
Full-text search, fully automatic DATEV transfer and invoice item recognition
New in GetMyInvoices is a full-text search. With this, users can search for any word and find the desired document even faster and easier than before. This is very useful, for example, if the laptop you bought stops working after six months. Then you need to quickly find out whether the warranty is valid and where the device was purchased. A quick full-text search in GetMyInvoices using the notebook model immediately leads to the receipt and saves a lot of time.
There is also a change to the DATEV interface. Previously, the transfer had to be started manually. Now DATEV offers a fully automatic transfer, which we implemented immediately. This means that a major pain for our customers is history. Anyone who has already set up an interface connection only needs to activate the automatic transfer in the synchronization settings. Then DATEV DUO will ask for extended rights that enable the fully automatic background transfer.
There is also automatic invoice item recognition. This function is still in the beta phase. Artificial intelligence (AI) identifies individual items on an invoice. It is constantly learning. This means that if the individual items are maintained for a layout, recognition works automatically for the next invoice. So you can help to improve the AI.
Synchronization with Salesforce and CenterDevice
In addition, our invoice management solution can now also be synchronized with Salesforce. This means that users of all solutions in the customer relationship management platform can automatically export their documents stored in GetMyInvoices to Salesforce so that they can continue working with them there. This means they can benefit from thousands of automatic download functions.
Also new: an import interface to CenterDevice. This is a cloud-based document management system for securely storing, quickly finding and easily sharing content. Documents from the solution can be automatically transferred to GetMyInvoices after a short individual setup. From there, they can be synchronized with various other applications to suit the respective workflows.
