Oliver Pfeil familiarized himself with the invoice management solution and quickly realized that it could significantly simplify his life. Another feature that caught Oliver Pfeil’s attention is the automatic file renaming. GetMyInvoices uses OCR to read all receipts in full text. Some of the extracted information, namely the date, invoice amount, and company name, is then included in the file name. This function is very valuable to him because his company stores all files centrally in the Google Cloud with consistent names.

High degree of automation

This convinced Oliver Pfeil and he introduced the solution after a test in November 2022. Since then, he has benefited from significant time savings, as GetMyInvoices

“GetMyInvoices covers everything we need to save time,” says Oliver Pfeil happily. “In combination with our tax advisor, this has led to almost complete automation, so that we only need half an hour per month for the preparatory accounting. The automated file renaming alone is very valuable to us, as it was an extreme time-waster in the past.”

He and his team also benefit from greater transparency. His company uses more than 100 different online tools and service providers. He has set up an offline portal for each provider, which is named after their provider and connected to GetMyInvoices. If eBusiness Pfeil GmbH receives invoices by email, GetMyInvoices automatically stores them in the respective offline portal and assigns the file name according to the defined syntax. “GetMyInvoices also contributes to greater clarity through the consistent file name,” says Oliver Pfeil. “Of course, this also saves time, as we can find documents again in no time.”

All in all, GetMyInvoices was the missing piece of the puzzle for Oliver Pfeil, which enabled him to automate his accounting almost completely.
