GetMyInvoices now with scanning app for Android and iOS

Lübeck. The invoice management solution GetMyInvoices now has a scanning app for the Android and iOS operating systems. Once installed on a smartphone or other mobile device, users can capture receipts wherever they arise and conveniently share them with others. This means that the documents are available where they are needed within a very short time: lost receipts are a thing of the past.

“With the release of the scan app, we are fulfilling another wish of our customers,” says Björn Kahle, COO of fino, provider of the invoice management software GetMyInvoices. He explains: “As soon as the app is installed and connected to the GetMyInvoices account, users can photograph receipts for fuel, postage or other expenses directly at the place where they are incurred. The documents are automatically uploaded to GetMyInvoices and are available there as PDFs for further processing.” This makes travel expense reports easier, for example.

The mobile app can be used even without an internet connection. The receipts can be scanned offline. As soon as a connection is established again, they are automatically transferred to GetMyInvoices. This puts an end to paperwork. The app meets the tax authorities’ requirements for replacement scanning. This means that users can destroy the scanned documents and do not have to keep the originals. As soon as they are saved in the system, authorized users can access them at any time from anywhere.

This also allows easy viewing, editing and sharing of data records via the app. This means that documents can be processed particularly quickly and promptly - with little manual effort. GetMyInvoices supports common invoice standards, such as ZUGFeRD or XRechnung, and reads invoice data within seconds using integrated OCR. Time-consuming and error-prone typing of invoice amounts, sales tax or invoice numbers is not necessary. In addition, the documents can be automatically forwarded to online accounting systems such as DATEV, sevDesk, FastBill, Lexoffice or Billomat. Alternatively, the invoices and receipts can be transferred to document management systems or cloud storage such as Dropbox, OneDrive and Google Drive.
