Forget about holidays! Money never sleeps – and never takes a vacation. That’s why we released several new functions for handling documents in GetMyInvoices in July. Some of them are part of the new workflow features. But first things first…
An important new feature is the inline editing of documents. Users can make changes directly in the list view. For example, the date, document number and amount can be changed with one click. The usual options via “Edit document” are still available.
Logging function as the first feature of the workflow module
The second new feature is a logging function for documents. It shows when a document was imported from which channel and displays all changes. For example, you can see who changed what and when. This function is also the first new feature of the GetMyInvoices workflow module, which in turn consists of many smaller functions that we will be releasing in the next few weeks.
Our workflow will also include a function that enables payments from GetMyInvoices. A precursor to this is that users can now download a SEPA XML. This is a defined file format that you can upload in online banking, which triggers a transfer or direct debit.
Another component of the workflow feature is the consideration of the directory schema - an option that many users requested and which we have now implemented. This means that when exporting documents to document storage such as Dropbox, it is now possible to specify the individual directory schema for saving under “Advanced Settings” and select a path according to the individually configured structure.
Better communication
Also new: a function for sharing documents. In all views, users can use a share button to generate a temporary link to share. This makes it possible, for example, for the accounting department to simply send a link to the travel expense report to a sales employee who does not have access to GetMyInvoices, along with a question to be clarified.
There is also even better communication with the DATEV data center. Users no longer have to manually initiate the transfer of documents to DATEV each time, but can have the desired documents transferred fully automatically using a long-term token.
New synchronization partners
In addition, GetMyInvoices has entered into two new synchronization partnerships. We are now cooperating with d.velop and automatically transferring documents to foxdox. This is a solution that allows users to save, manage and edit documents, media and other content. Our second new partner is JustOn, a leading provider of automatic invoice processing on the Salesforce platform. Documents such as invoices created in the JustOn Billing & Invoice Management billing software can be exported to GetMyInvoices via a connector. From there, they can be automatically transferred to numerous other solutions, as in the related press release described.

This month we have also integrated additional portals for the automatic import of documents into GetMyInvoices. These include:
