Summer, sun and long days characterized June for us. It was an eventful month. From June 11th to 15th, we presented GetMyInvoices on the DATEV experience course at the CEBIT in Hanover, collected interesting impressions and gained new customers.
We also implemented useful new features in our platform. For example, our collaboration with DATEV at CEBIT inspired us to create a new function. But read for yourself what’s new in GetMyInvoices:
Automatically shorten invoice numbers
The DATEV interface currently only accepts twelve characters as an invoice number. However, manual changes to the invoice numbers are no longer necessary. The synchronization settings offer the option of automatically shortening the invoice numbers. So even less effort!
Due date and payment details
To enable GetMyInvoices to remind customers of overdue invoices, we have set up an option to capture the due date of invoices. In the future, we will also further develop our OCR so that the due date is then automatically recognized.
In addition, GetMyInvoices users can now also store payment information on the invoice, which supports the payment workflow.
This new invoice information is transferred directly to the connected accounting systems such as sevDesk, FastBill and Sage, provided the interfaces allow this.
New supplier functions
As far as suppliers are concerned, our software now has two new features. Firstly, there is a list view in addition to the tile view.
Secondly, there is the option of combining suppliers. This means that if the automatic detection of suppliers resulted in, for example, a supplier named “Telekom” and a supplier named “Deutsche Telekom”, these can now be easily combined.
Even more comfort at work
With our multi-editing, processing multiple invoices at once has become much more convenient. This means that “mass updates” of invoices can also be carried out quickly and easily.
Another option that makes work easier is the split function, which allows multi-page PDFs to be split into individual invoices. This is beneficial, for example, for users who send many pages of paper invoices to their GetMyInvoice account and whose scanner only sends one large PDF with many pages instead of individual PDF files. The splitting process is fully logged, ensuring compliance with the principles for the proper management and storage of books, records and documents in electronic form and for data access (GoBD).
New portals
The list of portals from which users can download invoices with GetMyInvoices also grew in June. The new platforms include:
