We have been working on several major new features for GetMyInvoices and are continuing to refine them so that we can present them in the fall. We don’t want to give too much away in advance, but we do want to give you a taste of the new features.
Bank statements and outgoing invoices
We will soon be launching our download service for bank statements and credit card statements. Since this requires a PSD2 license, we are cooperating with our service provider fino run GmbH , which is supervised by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin). At the start, we already connected 1,500 bank portals, so that including invoice portals, we now have more than 4,500 online portals for automated document downloads.
In addition, we have set up more than ten new synchronization connections to collect outgoing invoices. These include tools such as the inventory management system Billbee , the management software Cobot , the CRM, project management and invoicing software Team leader as well as the ERP and CRM system Xentral . This requires the application to be divided into document types. These changes are almost complete and will gradually go live in the next few days, so you as our customer will notice some changes to the interface.
Cooperation with Teamleader and edooli
The link between GetMyInvoices and the CRM, project management and invoicing software Teamleader enables Teamleader users to automatically transfer their outgoing invoices created in the solution to GetMyInvoices. There they can conveniently manage the invoices and automatically transfer them to other systems such as their online accounting or to their tax advisor. This means they benefit from the key advantages of automated accounting. “You save a lot of time, can increase your cash flow and invest more resources in your core business,” says Niels Vanden Buverie, Marketplace Expansion Manager at Teamleader CRM.
Furthermore, GetMyInvoices has a connection to the invoicing program edooli In addition, receipts such as invoices from suppliers from GetMyInvoices are automatically recorded in edooli as expenses – including the amount and receipt PDF.
New OCR
After months of preparation, we are making our new Optical Character Recognition (OCR) solution available to all customers. The new OCR is much faster and more reliable. This applies to both the automated reading of invoice data and manual correction with the mouse in the GetMyInvoices interface.
What’s special is that the OCR learns independently via machine learning. If a customer has to correct invoice data because the automatic reading was incorrect, this information now flows back into the OCR so that the system learns new formats.
Automatic processing of invoice items
We are now starting to process the individual invoice items in the system and transfer them to the connected accounting departments. This will further reduce the amount of work involved in the actual posting in accounting.
Invoices in ZUGFeRD format are already read out fully automatically. In addition, users can easily enter and read out the invoice items using the mouse. Our new OCR will be trained in the coming months so that complete and reliable automation will also be possible in this area in the long term.
